YYYYYouch! I'm not a professed christian either, but what did he do that deserved being slapped? He taught love, forgivness, hospitality, fed the hungry, healed the sick and was a pacifist. Why do you hate him so?

Telling kids fairy tales is one thing. Telling them the fairy tales are real is something totally different. Kids grow up with no grip on reality and you wonder why. Maybe it's because you spent their formative years feeding them lies about tooth fairies, easter bunnies, santa claus, (Jesus), and other fictional characters with magical powers.

Your definition of "good man" must be different than mine. As far as I'm concerned he was a bastard who got off easily. Had I been there I would have spat in his face and slapped him repeatedly. Among other things.

Ben, there's gotta be something that makes you happy. Dig deep into that Santa Claus bag of yours.

Honestly, no, not really. The closest I come to happy is when I imagine a revolution of some sort. Oh, and Passion of the Christ made me happy. When they were flogging Jesus I giggled like a schoolgirl. The rest was boring as hell though.

What's under your tree?

my 4 year old is with her dad for christmas eve and i shall get her in the morning.

i have santa's presents all under the tree for her already!!!

i called her dad and told him to stop by my house to pick up 2 of her books: twas the night before christmas and courderoy's christmas.

So today I ate nothing but really bland foods and sat on the internet. It's 9am so I'll go to bed pretty soon, wake up around 8pm tonight, then sit on the internet some more. I might even refuse to eat until Midnight. I figure the rest of the world is having fun with family and friends and stuff, so I'll just deny myself as much as possible out of spite.

What do you all think?
